Violin Lessons

Violin lessons at Legacy Musical Arts are a great option for students of all ages. This beautiful instrument is the perfect choice for students who are interested in learning a bowed instrument. The violin is the smallest in the string family and has a beautiful, singing tone. Beginner instrument rentals start at $17 per month or may be purchased for $200+. We recommend renting an instrument the first year or more to ensure that students are fit for the correctly sized instrument as they grow (this does not apply to adult students).

Our violin students learn proper playing technique, how to read music, general music theory, and a variety of songs from different genres. We use the Hal Leonard Essential Elements method books as well as a collection of supplementary books. Our instructor, Mr. Posadas, structures lessons to meet the needs and skills of each student. We recommend violin lessons for students of 6 years and older.

Online Lessons

We also offer virtual violin lessons which offer a convenient option for students with busy schedules. Rather than making the commute into our studio, students may attend violin lessons from the comfort of their own homes. Another benefit of this method of instruction is a targeted focus on your instructor’s expertise. Many musicians are trying to learn a new instrument with Youtube or other video sharing formats but are not able to make consistent progress. Virtual violin lessons with Legacy Musical Arts provide motivation, accountability to practice, and real-time feedback.
